My story
The Life Story of the Artist Gali Shazo
Gali Shazo is an Israeli artist who creates and works in a studio in her hometown of Jerusalem, which is a primary source of powerful inspiration for her due to its unique history and sights. The city of Jerusalem and its surroundings is a combination of the old style of Jewish history and innovative modernity. Tnspiring her combination of Impressionist art with modern, digital Pointillism.
As a child, Gali had already loved art and painted in modern and classical styles. Later, as an adult, Gali found time in her personal life to create art. Now the digital tools gave her means for a different style of creation and Gali felt that she must not give up and should get back to her new/old love, and realize her hidden artistic passion.
Intuitively, she began to draw on a tablet using the dot method, and from there the works burst forth from her “like a boiling lava” of unceasing passion with a strong desire to continue creating without interruption. The results, the complements and the excitement around her artwork only reinforced her desire to keep creating. Gali’s works stand out for their simple and captivating humanity, which contains layers of depth and spirituality that touches every human being.
Her works are recognized throughout Israel and internationally and are commissioned by private clients, architects and exhibitions.
